DESIGN FOR EMERGENCIES WORKSHOPS

We are interested in learning more about your experience as a community member, emergency responder, organizational leader, safety officer, or other person responsible for emergency responses. Your insight will help us begin to formulate ways in which our community can be more prepared, resilient, and equipped for unpredictable emergencies.

Food Security Workshops
These workshops will be focused on public purchasing responses to emergency situations and will be open to any participant that is responsible for purchasing food or household goods for their family unit.

Emergency Response Workshops
These workshops will be focused on community responses to emergencies. It will be open to any participant responsible for responding to or planning for emergency situations (including emergency responders, organizations, government, schools, etc.).

Join a workshop:

All workshops will be held on the University of Notre Dame campus. Parking, lunch, and a $100 honorarium will be provided. Details will be provided via email prior to workshop.

Food Security Workshop (open to adults 18+)
This workshop hopes to gather diverse participants from the general public to explore issues of food security before and during emergencies.

Emergency Response Workshop (open to adults 18+)
This workshop hopes to gather participants from emergency services (e.g. fire, police, medical), essential services (e.g. utilities, transportation), social care network organizations, corporate or public safety officers, and the general public to explore emergency scenarios and community collaborative responses.
